Alternative dispute resolution
ADR, or Alternative Dispute Resolution, is the set of processes and initiatives that provide an amicable solution to a problem without having to take legal action. This saves businesses and consumers a lot of time and costs.
Consumers who have experienced a problem with a web-shop can contact BeCommerce. We try to find the most suitable solution for both parties in consultation with the web-shop concerned. If reconciliation is not possible in this way, we will always refer the consumer to the competent and appropriate entity(s). The only condition we make before taking action is that the consumer has first contacted the webshop in question.
In their general terms and conditions, the members of BeCommerce may refer their customers to BeCommerce for the mediation of complaints.
